Blondie in Blue—The Cocktail
As a tribute to the band Blondie I have concocted for all you fine ghouls a very rare beverage indeed. The Blondie in Blue to be precise! This little cocktail is so special as you’re not apt to find all the ingredients in a run of the mill liquor store making the trek to an alcohol super warehouse an absolute must!
The Blondie in Blue is a delightful Martini-like cocktail with an intriguing profile and, as the name suggests, a beautiful deep sky color. This drink is filled with luxurious spirits including Blue Ice Vodka, Marie Brizard Parfait Amour and Lillet Blonde - these combine for an elegant taste and a zombilicious look!
Here’s how we do it up in the Crypt:
2 ¼ oz of Blue Ice American Vodka
1/3 oz of Marie Brizard Parfait Amour
¼ oz of Lillet Blonde
Lemon wedge for garnish
Stir the ingrediants in a mixing glass with ice until well chilled, strain into a pre-chilled cocktail glass, I prefer a high balls glass. Garnish with a slice of lemon and serve to your ghouls. I recommend listening to a little, “Heart of Glass” to truly get yourself into the Blondie spirit! Viva la beverage and bottoms up!
